ZOLOZ wasn’t always ZOLOZ. In fact, ZOLOZ is the new name and brand for Kansas City, Missouri based biometric security company EyeVerify LLC. EyeVerify had been a long time client, and after their acquisition by Ant Financial for over $100 million, they decided it was time for a change, and I was thrilled to be part of it.
After a thrilling logo shootout and lots of great concepts developed by VML, Highline, and myself, the above concept, developed initially by Highline, was chosen to move forward, and I was chosen to refine the direction and develop it into a robust brand.
I got to work refining all those fun little details into a finished mark that felt balanced, consistent and worked well at a variety of scales. This was achieved by thickening the overall weight, fixing the O’s (which appear lower than the other letters), and adjusting the spacing.
Once happy with the refined logo, product logo lockups were produced for the various aspects of ZOLOZ’s business.
A strong digital presence was important for ZOLOZ, as their clients come from all over the globe. I designed a fresh clean website, with ease of use at the forefront of our strategy.
In addition, I created custom icons based off the logo.
In order to welcome new employees and make their office more uniquely ZOLOZ, I developed an on-boarding kit, complete with custom note-books, shirts, and buttons. Custom way-finding for their conference rooms and murals which speak to the heart of ZOLOZ were designed as well.
